General information
for the 2009 Summer Dreams & Dazzling Diamonds National
Extravaganza
1.
All
contestants must be pre registered NLT May 15th,
2008. We will accept entries after this date until May 25th
with a late fee. No door entries will be accepted.
2.
No checks
will be accepted at the door under any circumstances!!!! It is
cash only at the door.
3.
There
will be an admission fee of $10 for each spectator attending
the Summer Dreams and Dazzling Diamonds National Extravaganza.
You must have a ballroom badge. If you are caught without one
you will be asked to purchase one or exit the event.
4.
Judges
decisions are final and of their opinion on that day.
5.
Absolutely
no refunds unless pageant is cancelled!!!
6.
All
contestants 17 years old and under must be accompanied by an
adult.
7.
You
must refer a minimum of 5 contestants to qualify to win the
referral Queen/King Title; It will be
awarded to the contestant with the most referrals over 5.
8.
Director
reserves the right to substitute awards as needed which may
include an upgrade or addition of Awards & a remote chance
of anything less.
9.
You
must compete as the age you are on pageant competition day. No
fallbacks or grace periods allowed.
10.
Director
reserves the right to combine age divisions if there are less
than three in a division; however this does not necessarily
mean they will be combined.
11.
All
contestants will be crowned in the National Extravaganza
Crowning T-shirt and black shorts.
12.
Must
have ten full paying contestants to hold the pageant.
13.
Make
up is allowed on all ages but please understand that this is a
true beauty pageant. Scoring is not based on how beautifully
made up a contestant is but on how naturally beautiful a
contestants face is. There is no modeling score either. Stage
Presence is only how comfortable the contestant appears in
front of the judges.
14.
Please
do not ask how many are in your group, who is in your group,
how many in the pageant, what the numbers look like or anything
remotely close to this, as we will be unable to provide an
accurate number until the actual day of competition.
15.
Please
be dressed and ready to compete at your event time even if you
are not first up for competition; points will be deducted per
judge if you are late for any event; NO EXCEPTIONS!!!
16.
Please
do NOT invade the judge’s space; any “coaching” must be
conducted from the designated coaching area
17.
Absolutely
No cameras of any kind will be allowed in the ballroom. Every
contestant will have the opportunity to purchase their photo
package during registration.
18.
If
paying your fees by paypal, please
remember to add 4% to paypal funds or
it will be added to your balance @ the door.
19.
The
website listed info supersedes any and all “floating” paperwork
relating to the Summer Dreams and Dazzling Diamonds National
Extravaganza.
20.
Last,
but most importantly, all attendees of the pageant (whether
competing or not) must conduct themselves in a professional
& good sportsman like manner! If you do not your child will
be disqualified without a refund. We are serious about this so
please do not try it. If you have a concern about something
please wait until after crowning to address the director.
