Formal Wear: Wear what makes you comfortable. This applies to Boys, too. =

Casual Wear: Must be s= tore bought with nothing added.

Composite: Any type of= comp card is acceptable for the prelim.

*= Anyone not placing will be recognized as Princess/Prince and receive a smaller prize package. No one leaves empty handed. Also, to qualify for the Overall Supreme G= rand you must enter side awards and = both optional events.

General information for the 2008 Christmas Dreams Prelim Pageants =

1.= &n= bsp; All contestants must be pre registered by the prelim deadline date. No door entri= es will be accepted.

2.= &n= bsp; No checks will be accepted at the door under any circumstances!!!! It is cash only at the door.

3.= &n= bsp; Every contestant must purchase a chaperone badge. The fee is $10. For all other spectators, there will be an admis= sion fee of $5. You must have a ballroom badge. If you are caught without one you will be asked to purchase one = or exit the event.

4.= &n= bsp; Judges decisions are final and of their opinion on that day.=

5.= &n= bsp; Absolutely no refunds unless a prelim is cancelled!!!

6.= &n= bsp; All contestants 17 years old and under must be accompanie= d by an adult.

7.= &n= bsp; You must refer a minimum of 5 contestants to qualify for = the referral Winner Title; It = will be awarded to the contestant with the most referrals = over 5.

8.= &n= bsp; Director reserves the right to substitute awards as needed whi= ch may include an upgrade or addition of Awards & a remote chance of anything less.=

9.= &n= bsp; You must compete as the age you are on pageant competition day. No fallbacks.

10= . = Director reserves the right to combine age divisions if there = are less than (2) in a division; however, this does NOT necessarily mean they will be combined.

11= . = All contestan= ts must crown in presentable crowning attire. Please dre= ss appropriately for crowning.

12= . = Must have ten full paying contestants to hold the pageant.=

13= . = You must enter formalwear, side awards and both optional events to qualify to win the Overall Supreme Grand; t= his applies to the Overall Supreme King title as well. <= /span>

14= . = Make up on ages 0-5 is allowed although not recommended. C= lear lip gloss & light blush is all that is recommended for ages 6 & older. Teens are allowed full hair/m= ake up but it should be age appropriate, tasteful and complimentary to the contestant.

15= . = Please do not ask how many are in your group, who is in your group, how many in the pageant, what the numbers look like or anything remotely close to this, as we will be unable to provide an accurate number until the actual= day of competition.

16= . = Please be dressed and ready to compete at your event time ev= en if you are not first up for competition; points will = be deducted per judge if you are late for any event; NO EXCEPTIONS!!!

17= . = Please do NOT invade the judge’s space; any “coaching” must be conducted from the designated coaching area

18= . = Absolutely No cameras of any kind will be allowed in the ballroo= m. Every contestant will have the opportunity to purchase their photo package during registration.

19= . = If paying your fees by paypal, please remember to add 4% to pay= pal funds or it will be added to your balance @ the door<= o:p>

20= . = The website listed info supersedes any and all “floating” paperwork relating to the 2008 Christmas Dreams National Pageant <= /b>

Last, but most importantly, all attendees of the pageant (whether competing or not) must conduct themselves in a professional & good sportsman like manner! If you= do not your child will be disqualified without a refund.= We are serious about this so please do not try it. If you have a concern about something please wait until after crowning to address the director. =
